Boyd 'Blinny' Blinn

Boyd H. Blinn, 81, of Pulaski Township, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011, in his home.

Born November 12, 1929, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Boyd S. and Madge (Poe) Blinn. Boyd served as a SGT in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the occupation of Japan and the Korean War as a photography technician. He was retired from P.B.I where he was a heavy construction fitter/welder. Boyd worked for the Beaver County Sheriff's Department, was a constable, and worked for Pulaski Twp. as an assistant chief and Rochester Twp. Police Dept. as a SGT. He was active in politics and was Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, Boyd was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jane Blinn and Beverly Ann Wessel.

Surviving are his loving wife, Natalia (Omogrosso) Blinn; a daughter, Christina Andrews, New Sewickley Township; a sister, Jean "Tootie" Moldovan, Ellwood City; one granddaughter, Heather Banks, and her husband, Matthew; a stepson, Arthur Kendrew, Ohio, and their two children, Amanda and Cory; three great-grandchildren, Christina Mae, John Elias "Bubba", and Emily Elizabeth Banks, several nieces, nephews, and their families.

There will be no visitation. Private interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.
