Daniel John White Sr., 61, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Manor Care, Greentree.

Born May 1, 1956 in Rochester he was the son of the late Richard and Margaret (Shaffer) White. He was an auto mechanic and had worked in the construction field. Dan enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and was an avid Steeler fan.

Surviving are three sons John (Dawn Currin) White, Robinson Twp, Daniel J. White Jr and Nicholas Parrish, both of New Brighton, two daughters Tabitha White and Danielle White, both of New Brighton, five grandchildren Destiney Short, Bradley Shields, Darrian White, Edward Shields and Gracilee Spratt, one brother Richard (Janet) White, New Galilee, one sister Cindy (George) McNary, New Castle, his former wife Lorraine White, New Brighton, several nieces, nephews and their families.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Larry White, John Roser and Ted Roser, his fiancé Michelle Parrish and his brother-in-law John Whitmore. 

Friends will be received Friday January 5, 2018 from 4 to 7pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton. Family and friends are invited to attend on Saturday January 6, 2018 his Mass of Christian burial to be held in Holy Family Catholic Church at 10:00am with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
