Linda Ikard

Linda Ikard, 57, of Chippewa, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday June 21, 2013 at Heritage Valley Beaver.

She was born on December 22, 1955, a daughter of the late Samuel and Laura (Robinson) Ikard. She was a member of the Wayman Chapel A.M. E. Church of New Brighton. She had worked at the former Armco Steel, Ambridge; at the first K.F.C. in Beaver Falls and for Earl Shieb Auto Painting in Los Angeles, CA. Linda will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She had a loving spirit, and would do anything to please everybody. Although she had no children, she was a mother to all of her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by five sisters, Deborah Robinson, New Brighton; Sandra (Charles) Ward, Levittstown, PA; Joyce Moore, New Brighton; Susan (Boyd) Wright, New Brighton and Alesia Ikard, Monaca;  two aunts, the Rev. Wilma Jean Smith, Beaver and Lonnie Mae Robinson, Wampum and a host of special nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, William and Samuel Ikard.

Friends will be received Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church, 6th Avenue, New Brighton, from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. with the Evangelist Dawn Jackson of the Greater Faith Family Worship Center officiating.
