Martha Jean (Early) McKenzie

Martha McKenzie, 85, of Chester, VA., formerly of New Brighton, passed away Sunday May 27, 2012 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born April 28, 1927, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Alberta (Depner) Early.  Martha attended First United Methodist Church, New Brighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack M. McKenzie.
Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law; Linda and Michael Kline, Midlothian, VA;  Brenda and James Conley, Beaver Falls, Jill Haffey, Midlothian, VA, and Jackie Chaplin and Albert Gatlin, Chester, VA; 13 grandchildren, Michael Kline Jr., Branden and Brooke Conley, Rachel and Aaron Shapert, Eric Conley, Sarah Kline, Susannah Goodwin, Scott and Marnie Rittwage, Jason Conley, Justin McKenzie, Dana McKenzie and Jonathan Brightman, Joel Kline, Cory Chaplin, and Lyndsey Haffey; eight great-grandchildren, Darren, Sierra, Marissa, Alexis, Alyssa, Cameron, Alexandra, and Ryann;  one brother, William Early and a sister, Nancy E. Lindsay.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donald W. MacNeil, officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
