Mary Grace (Melchiorre) Reina, 93, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born in Italy, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Filomena (Vignali) Melchiorre. A gentle woman, Mary was a homemaker who emphasized and demonstrated great love and devotion to her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for those she loved. She was a member of Holy Family Parish of New Brighton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles F. Reina, on March 22, 2002; three brothers, Samuel, Joseph and Frank Melchiorre; a sister, Rose Hall; brothers-in-law, John Reina, Ray Hall and Paul Fronko, and sisters-in-law, Julia Melchiorre and Sandra Melchiorre.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Ernie (June) Reina, Hobe Sound, Fla.; Charles (Judy) Reina, Beaver, and Carl (Peggy) Reina, New Brighton; grandchildren, Edward, Robert and Caroline Reina; great-grandchildren, Paxton and Blake Reina; sisters, Angeline Fronko and Anita Melchiorre; sister-in-law, Donna Reina, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made in her name to either the American Heart Association or Villa St. Joseph, 1030 West State St., Baden, PA 15005.
