Norma Jean (Coburn) Sargent

Norma Jean (Coburn) Sargent, 80, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.
Born December 29, 1937, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Norma (Reda) Coburn. Norma worked for over 20 years at Sunnyhill Farm Resort in Greenville and then at Camp Kon-O-Kwee in Fombell. She was a devoted homemaker always taking care of her husband and children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan J. Sargent, on August 18, 2013; three brothers, William, Donald and Richard Coburn, and two sisters, Dorothy Coburn and Betty Nicholson.
Surviving are one son, Martin J. Sargent, Liverpool, Pa.; one daughter, Margo Rosenfeld and husband Robert Rote, Patterson Twp.; three grandchildren, Steven and his wife Jodi Rosenfeld, Sean Rosenfeld and Jenna Rosenfeld; two brothers, Robert and Clifford Coburn, both of New Brighton, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. James Krouse officiating.
Private interment will take place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
