Rosetta Evans, 79, of Beaver Falls, formerly of New Brighton, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2017 in Brighton Wellness & Rehab Beaver, Pennsylvania.  
Rosetta was born in Lewisburg Tennessee on October 6, 1937 a daughter of the late Robert and Mary “Fannie” (Baker) Crutcher. She was a member of the New Brighton Church of Christ, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.  She took an active role in the lives of her children and grandchildren, and will be remembered among her family, friends, and neighbors as creating a beautiful, welcoming, and lively home for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Frank J. Evans, Sr., Beaver Falls, daughters Barbara Pitts, Beaver Falls, and Janice Goldsborough, New Brighton, son Frank Evans, Jr., New Brighton, granddaughters Elizabeth Pitts, Beaver Falls, and Michelle (Isaiah) Dixon and great- granddaughter Kyla Janae Dixon, Philadelphia, sister Annette Gentry, Sewanee, TN and devoted sister-in-law and friend Carrie Crutcher of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents she has been preceded in death, brothers William, Robert, and Foster Crutcher and sister Christine Crutcher, and sister-in-law Corrine Evans, and brothers-in-law William (Crusada) and Eugene (Stella) Evans.  
She also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Friends will be received Friday from 4:00 to 7:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton. Service will be conducted by Royce Sartain.
Private interment will take place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
The family would like to thank the staff of Beaver County LIFE Center, the staff at Brighton Rehab and Wellness 4 East, and the Beaver County Office on Aging for helping to make Rosetta’s days pleasant.
