Sharyn R. (Greco) Zidow, 70, of Brighton Twp., passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, after a long battle with cancer.

Born October 29, 1946, in Ellwood City, she was a daughter of Antoinette (Vitulo) Greco of New Brighton and the late Joseph Greco. She was a graduate of New Brighton High School and the St. Francis School of Nursing, New Castle. Sharyn was a registered nurse and retired from the former Friendship Ridge. She was a longtime resident of Brighton Twp.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 50 years, Edward A. Zidow; two sons, Edward M. Zidow, West Port, Conn., and Steven J. Zidow, Bloomsburg, Pa.; one brother, Joseph (Patty) Greco, New Brighton; two nieces, Leslie (Garen) Huddy and Kelsey (Brad) Humble, and one nephew, Gabe Greco.

At her request, there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to her memorial Mass of Christian burial Friday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Seventh Avenue, New Brighton, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Inurnment will take place in Locust Grove Cemetery, Ellwood City.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made in her name to the Beaver County Cancer & Heart Association, 3582 Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA 15061.
