William L. Pasquale Sr., 83, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the home of his daughter after an extended illness.
Born December 23, 1934, in New Brighton, a son of the late Patsy and Santa (Priori) Pasquale. He was a retired accountant and had worked for Townsend Co., RB&W Steel and Bachman's Garage along with several more companies. Bill was also a retired member of the Daugherty Township Volunteer Fire Department and former president for many years with New Brighton Memorial Day Association. Bill was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He was member of the American Legion, Post #19, New Brighton, and was a peacetime veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Pasquale, December 4, 2002; one sister, Lorretta Mendicino; and three brothers, Frank, Anthony and Reynold Pasquale.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William Jr. and Stacey Pasquale, New Brighton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Mike Fox, Chippewa, and Linda and Jim Runatz, Marshall Twp.; nine grandchildren, Carley, Caleb and Cassandra Pasquale, Natalie, Jim (Randee) Pratte, Tyler Fox, and Abigail, Rachel and J.D. Runatz; three great-grandchildren. Adelynn, Mackenzie and Abriella; one brother, David and his wife, Mary Pasquale, Patterson Twp.; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet in the cemetery Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to provide military honors.
