Gino Curcio, 92, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in his home.
Born June 13, 1925, in Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Vittori (Mancini) Curcio.  Gino served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 790th Engineer Petroleum Distribution Company.  His decorations include American Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.  He worked for Babcock & Wilcox in the powerhouse division.  Gino was a member of the American Legion, Post #19 and a VFW Gold Circle member.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Felicia "Phyllis" Yaria.
Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years, Agnes (Zugay) Curcio; a daughter, Constance Curcio, Florida; two nephews, Jim and John Yaria; a niece, Mary Jean Wilcox, two stepsons, two stepdaughters, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday from 10 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at noon in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com.  Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet Friday at Sylvania Hills at 12:15 p.m. to provide full military honors for Gino.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Good Samaritan Hospice.
