Gloria L. (Walters) Hartley

Gloria L. “Sis” Hartley, 87, of Pulaski Twp., passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
Born January 6, 1931, in Rices Landing, Pa., she is the daughter of the late John and Stella (Bice) Walters. She was a member of the New Brighton PTA, Pulaski Twp. Fire Department Auxiliary, and served on the Pulaski Twp. election board. Gloria was a member of Church of Nazarene, New Brighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Hartley Sr., 2002; grandson, Jimmy, 2013; and brothers, Floyd and Merle Walters.
Surviving are her children, James (Janette) Hartley, Economy Borough, and Ronald (Janet) Hartley, Economy Borough; four grandchildren, Shaun, Nicole, Taylor, and David; a brother, Clayton Walters, Jefferson, Pa.; two sisters, Joanne (Joseph) Rush, Washington, Pa. and Violet Shumaker, Greely, Colo.; and nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Gloria will lie in state Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Nazarene, 423 Penn Ave., New Brighton.
Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp.
