Mike Gaus

Mike Gaus, 62, of North Sewickley, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at home.
Born June 1, 1956, in Rochester, Pa., he was the son of the late George and Lois Mae (Blinn) Gaus.  Mike retired from Brunner Inc, where he was a refuse collector for over 40 years.  Mike was a member of the North Sewickley Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed boating and fishing with his children and grandkids.
Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Betty (Wagner) Gaus; three children and their spouses, Lisa (Daniel) Gribben, Darlington, Lori (Matt) Theadore, Franklin Twp. and Greg (Leah) Gaus, Darlington; nine grandchildren, Connor, Avery and Isaac Gribben, Matthew, Ryan, Logan and Jaxon Theadore, Hunter and Jacob Gaus; sister, Deborah (Donald) Gaus-Munroe, Beaver Falls; brother, Thomas (Nancy) Gaus, Ellwood City; brother and sisters-in-law: Cathy (Mike) Paine, Mary Wagner, AJ (Joan) Wagner, Nancy (Ron) Tyger, Sue (Roly) Alvarez, Sam (Diane) Wagner, Mike (Lorraine) Wagner, Frank (Lupita) Wagner, Judy (TJ) Johnson, Tom Wagner, Richard (Stacie) Wagner, Connie (Paul) Aldredge, Philip (Lisa) Wagner, Christine (Eric) Fleger, Bob (Mary) Wagner, Teresa (Rick) Wagner.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, where a service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Cremation will take place after all services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
