William  P. Gray Sr., 71, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Curahealth Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born October 31, 1947, in Ambridge, a son of the late Raymond and Josephine (Hollein) Gray. Bill was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Homer Nine & Sons as an HVAC installer; he was also a handyman helping anyone in need. He was an avid Steeler, Penn State and WVU fan.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Tammy (Barr) Gray; daughter, Summer (Andrew) Oslick; son, William P. (Danielle) Gray Jr., Hopewell; daughter, Bryanna Gray, New Brighton; four grandchildren, Hayden, Joanna, Silas and Liam; one sister, Dora Joy, Ambridge; several nieces, nephews and their families; and his beloved kitty, Buddy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Gray; and two sisters, Cookie and Joan.
There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com,  with the Rev. Gregory Clagg officiating.
Inurnment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, at a later date.
