Ada E. (Davidson) Cox

Ada E. Cox, 81, of New Brighton rejoined the love of her life, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, and they will spend eternity together.

Born April 19, 1942, in Smith’s Ferry, she was a daughter of the late William and Elva (Smith) Davidson.  Ada was a homemaker, who loved spending time with her family.  She loved the Steelers, bingo, watching wrestling four nights a week, frogs and everything blue.

Surviving Ada are her children, Tina Eaton, Ellwood City, Tonya West, Monaca, and Shawn (Cathy) Cox, Ellwood City, 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, brother, Ray (Terri) Davidson, New Castle, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Duard B. Cox, and brothers, Bill Davidson and Tom Davidson.

Friends will be welcomed Friday from 4pm until the time of the service at 7pm, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton, with Pastor Donald MacNeil officiating.
