Albert J. LaFrance, Jr.

Albert J. LaFrance, 77, of Freedom, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013, at home.

Born June 20, 1936, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Emma (D'Amico) LaFrance and the late Albert J. LaFrance Sr. Albert was a member of the Freedom Eagles and the S.O.I. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sons, John, 1993, and Duane, 1999, and a brother, Jim.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his ex-wife, Mary LaFrance, Rochester; his significant other, Sheila George, Freedom; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark (Julie) LaFrance, Ellwood City; Darrell LaFrance, TX, and Michael (Lisa) LaFrance, White Twp.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janine LaFrance, Erie, and Michele (Paul) Trunzo, Moon Twp.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Kay Wharton, Penn Hills.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton.

Cremation will take place after all services.
