Alfred 'Al' Pacheco, 77, of Beaver, PA, died peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2014, in Heritage Valley Beaver, following a brief illness.
He was a proud 30 year member of IUPAT Local 530, Painters Union and employed by Colonial Painting Co. of Beaver Falls. He loved music and was the lead drummer for Ralph Naturelle and the Naturelles Band in the 1950's. He was an avid golfer and participated in numerous leagues, particularly at the Fox Run Golf Course. He was an active member at the Oak Hill Vets Club, New Brighton American Legion, and the Monaca and Beaver Falls Turners. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn (McDonald) Pacheco, and a brother, John Pacheco.
Surviving are a daughter, Shellie Kreshon (Mark), Beaver Falls; son, Joseph Pacheco, New Brighton; son, Sean Pacheco (Julie), New Brighton, and daughter, Jennifer Pacheco and Frank Gioffre, Ellwood City; stepchildren, Heather McDonald Garing (Mike), Pittsburgh; Annie McDonald and Thomas Miller, North Carolina; Ellen Caputo, Beaver Falls, and David Lenda, Ohio; grandchildren, Lindsey and Joey Pacheco, New Brighton, and Mark and Erica Kreshon, Darlington; a great-granddaughter, Bailey Arrington, Darlington, and family friend, Nancy Kosior.
Per Al's wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A private burial will be held at Beaver Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the wonderful nursing staff on 3B at Heritage Valley for their excellent care and compassion.
