Alice J. Jurasovic, 93, of Zelienople, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Ellwood City Hospital.
Born June 11, 1921 in New Brighton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lubic) Jurasovic, she was retired from the former Gross Furniture Store in Beaver Falls where she was a clerk for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Zelienople. Alice was a member of the United Croatian Club, New Brighton, for the past 75 years. Her favorite pastime was going dancing on the weekends at the old dance halls with her friends and sister, Olga, who was a musician.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her sisters, Grace Lois and Olga Jurasovic, and a cousin, Donny Lubic.
A loving aunt, she will be sadly missed by her niece, Sylvia Grace and her husband Dale Benedum, Zelienople; cousin, Helen
Lubic, West Newton, and good friends, Marla Bennett, Zelienople, and Betty Fusco, Beaver.
Friends will be received Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, from 10 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
