Anna (Budicak) Kisic

Anna (Budicak) Kisic, 97, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born December 17, 1915, in New Brighton, a daughter of the late Louis and Zora (Pavkovich) Budicak, she was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton, and the Croatian Fraternal Union.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Red" Kisic, on April 28, 1999; two brothers, Louis and Joseph Budicak, and one sister, Amelia Holzworth.

Surviving are one son John J. Kisic, St. Petersburg, FL; one grandson, John Kisic; one sister-in-law, Jean Kisic, Patterson Heights, and many nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Rochester.
