Barbara A. 'Babs' Pullion
Barbara A. "Babs" Pullion, 84, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2014 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born August 6, 1930 in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Katty (Shaffer) Pullion. She attended Mt. Gallitzin High School and retired from the former Westinghouse Electric Corp. after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton. She was a very generous lady who loved her family and was loved by them. As an aunt, she was simply the best.
Surviving are her sister, Virginia L. Kaufold Teichman, with whom she resided; four nieces and nephews, Barbara (Paul) Ellis, New Brighton; John Robert (Diana) Kaufold, Edinburg, TX; Mark E. (Tammy) Kaufold, New Brighton, and Joan (Dan Kidd) Kohlman, New Brighton; many great-nieces, nephews and their families and her lifelong dear friend, Sr. Bridget James O'Brien.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Pullion.
At her request, there will be no viewing.
Family and friends are invited to share in her Mass of Christian burial Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.
Inurnment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
