Barbara  (Zimmerman) Deltondo

Barbara (Zimmerman) Deltondo, 89, of Beaver Falls, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her home.

Born April 6, 1924, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Kozlovac) Zimmerman. She had worked for the former Townsend Co., the former Beaver Valley Bakery and retired from the C&L Superette in 1997. She loved playing cards with her card club the DA's for over 50 years and bowling two nights a week with the W.I.B.C. of Beaver Valley. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, the Holy Family Gold, the United Croatian Club, all of New Brighton and the C.F.U. Beaver Valley.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank R. Totera, May 12, 1954 and her second husband, Angelo "Shine" Deltondo, August 17, 1999 and a sister, Anne Ellis, May 24, 2004.

She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends; surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Ivan Rogina, Las Vegas, NV; Connie Totera-Hutchison, Enon Valley; Carol and Mark Wimer, Cincinnati, OH and Karen Deltondo and Junior, Pittsburgh; ten grandchildren, Diane Hutchison, Daniel Hutchison, Eli (Joy) McCarthy, Lara Sasaran,  Sean Hutchison, Lauren Deltondo, Taylor Deltondo, Chelsea Feyka, Sam Feyka and Kyle Wimer; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Hutchison, Lonnie Smith, Alona Smith, Lazarus McCarthy and Rose McCarthy; one sister, Goldie Mack, Brunswick, OH and several nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
