Barbara A. (Freeze) Locy-Nagy, 69, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 10, 2016, in her home.
Born April 1, 1947, in Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Melvin A. and Susie (Moore) Freeze, she was a member of Life of Beaver County and had attended the Sylvania Hills Baptist Church. Barbara loved crafts, bingo, and writing songs about her Lord, whom she loved. She also loved her cats.
Surviving are her husband, George Nagy; six children, Earl (Lisa Pasco) Locy, Conway; Linda (Guy Mohr) Ratliff, Freedom; Donna (Kevin) Cox, Freedom; Barbara Murphy, Industry; Julie (Matthew) Fleming, Fombell, and Richard (Antoinette) Locy, Zelienople; 13 grandchildren including Chelsea Benson, whom was very close to her; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Shari) Freeze, Pittsburgh; two sisters, Rose Mary Gavinski, Big Beaver, and Violet Reidy, Rochester, and many nieces and nephews including Katelyn Gavinski, who was also very close to her.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd, Robert, Melvin and David Freeze.
There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. in the
