Beatrice L. (Burroughs) St. John

Beatrice L. (Burroughs) St. John, 98, of Beaver Falls, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born February 25, 1923, in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late William and Ida (Brandt) Burroughs.  She was a retired secretary for the Townsend Company.  She was a member of Central United Methodist, Beaver Falls.  She was involved in Girl Scouts, PTA, Band boosters, and various church organizations.  She loved wordsearch puzzles, to travel, and to sing.  Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (James) Dunlap, New Brighton, Deborah (Kerry) Patterson, Daugherty, Susan (David) Haney, Aurora, Co, grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Schlichtkrull, Timothy Dunlap, Andrew Patterson, Scott (Sarah) Haney, Carly Haney, great-grandchildren, Sydney, Dominic, Emily, Faith, and Carson, sister Nancy (Dennis) Johnston, Houston, TX, nephew, James Anderson, Conway, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles St. John, and sister Norma Anderson.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7pm and Friday from 10am until the time of service at 11am, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, with Pastor Freda Snyder officiating.

Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
