Betty Fenton, 86, of Marietta, GA, formerly of New Brighton, died Friday, June 20, 2014.
Mrs. Fenton was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton, Catholic Daughters of America, Christian Mothers, and the Holy Family Gold. Mrs. Fenton traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, China, and the Caribbean. She was a resident of Winnwood Retirement Community in Marietta, GA for the past two years.
Mrs. Fenton was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Fenton, Jr.
Survivors include her three sons, John C. Fenton of Beaver Falls, PA, Joseph Fenton (Laura) of Marietta, and David Fenton (Debra) of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren, Stephen (Shannon), Ellwood City, PA; Sarah, Beaver Falls, PA; Jackie, Los Angeles, CA; Michael and Heidi, Tampa, FL, and Anna and Theresa, Marietta, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Holy Family Parish, New Brighton, with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in New Brighton.
