Betty Mae (Gaus) Stephens

Betty Mae (Gaus) Stephens, 70, of Beaver Falls, passed away Saturday February 26, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born November 22, 1951, in Rochester a daughter of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Sweesy) Gaus. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Survived by one son Victor Stephens, Beaver Falls, one daughter Stacy (Donnie) Scherfel, Freedom, three grandchildren Alysia, Steven and Summer Scherfel, three brothers, Bill Gaus, Kenny (Diane) Gaus and Eddie Gaus, four sisters Mary Kaye Gaus, Peggy Monnich, Alice Johnson and Marggie Gaus, several cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her favorite aunt Dorothy Sweesy.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Friday from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am with Pastor Bill Blume officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
