Betty Jane (Locy) Kelly Snyder, 86, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.
Born June 22, 1931, in Unionville, a daughter of the late Alvin Gilbert and Gertrude (Elliott) Locy. She had been a former telephone operator for Bell Telephone, an ER clerk at the former Rochester Hospital and a cashier at the former Beaver Falls Foodland. She was member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witness, Monaca.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Kelly; her second husband, Frank Snyder; two brothers, Artis Matthews and Earl Locy; one sister, Sandra Fisk, and one grandson, Daniel W. Bennett.
Surviving are two daughters, Darlene (Randell Conci) Kelly, Monaca, and Vera (Kevin) Cindric, New Brighton; four granddaughters, Abbie Jane Swogger, Deenna (Bill Shriner) Basile, Arya Parvizi and Amanda Frech; two great-grandsons, James Bundy and Jacob Myers; five great-great-grandchildren, Mason Bundy, Jayden Myers and Octivia Myers, Joseph and Alaina Basile; one brother, Gary Locy; three sisters, Helen Barnes, Charlotte Remington and Phyllis Siros, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 5 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com
Cremation will take place after the funeral.
