Bruce N. Daniels

Bruce N. Daniels New Brighton Bruce N. Daniels, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019, at his home. Born February 27 1931, in Beverly, W.Va., a son of the late Humboldt and Blanche (Harper) Daniels. He was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Army, in the occupation in Okinawa, Japan and then one year in Truman's Korean War Plan. He was a retired steelworker for the former J&L Steel and was a faithful attendee of the Free Methodist Church of New Brighton. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Shirley (Bodkins) Daniels; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce C. (Donna) Daniels, Georgetown, Brian L. (Eunice) Daniels, New Sewickley Twp., Bradley H. (Paula) Daniels, Negley, Ohio and Blake W. (Patricia) Daniels, Economy; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Barry S. Daniels in 1985. Friends will be received Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with the Rev. Steve Forsythe officiating. Interment will take place Friday at 11 a.m. in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet in the cemetery, Friday at 10:30 a.m. to provide full military honors.
