Carl David Balderson, 77, formerly of New Brighton and El Paso, Texas, passed away at Rochester Manor on December 31, 2017.
Born July 9, 1940, Carl was the son of the late Mildred (Evans) and Bruce Balderson. Carl enjoyed watching old movies, fishing, card games at the Owls Club, playing board games, doing crossword puzzles, writing poems and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving are his two brothers, Richard (Mary Jane) Balderson and Frank (Rita) Balderson; five children, Jill (Michael) Botinovch, Mark (Jennifer) Balderson, Jodi (Jon) Hilliard, Melissa Balderson and Nicole (Robert) Negrete; three stepdaughters, Nathalia (Rodger) Benefiel, Veronica Pelaez and Claudia (Robert) Dominguez, along with 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday, January 5, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the start of the blessing service at 11 a.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA, 15001, in Carl's memory.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rochester Manor for the wonderful care they provided Carl over the past two years.
