Carol Elizabeth (Tindall) Howitt
Carol Elizabeth (Tindall) Howitt, 82, of Beaver Falls, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Cambridge Village.
Born July 12, 1930 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Covert and Mildred (Doak) Tindall, she was retired from the former Westinghouse Corp. of Vanport where she was a group leader on the assembly line. She also belonged to several bowling leagues during her life and loved to dance and sing.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Paul Howitt, March 15, 2001 and her first husband, Louis Romesburg in 1980.
Surviving are one son, Barry Romesburg, Miamisburg, OH; one daughter, Kandi Romesburg, Monaca; three grandchildren, Kathryn (Romesburg) Lynville, Michael Romesburg and Robert Romesburg; two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Davis Lynville; one brother, Covert Tindell, Darlington and several nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received today from 5 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with Richard Roos, Chaplin of Heartland Hospice, officiating.
Private interment will follow in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Cemetery, Wayne Twp.
