Catherine Marie (Blinn) Diehl

Catherine M. Diehl, 71, of North Sewickley, passed away at home Tuesday, July 9, 2024 after a two-year battle against pulmonary fibrosis.

Born June 29, 1953, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Howard and Eleanor Virginia (Herr) Blinn. Catherine was a lifelong dairy farmer, homemaker, devoted wife and mother. The great joys of her life were seeing her flower patches and cows through her kitchen windows. She was a cook of great renown and loved serving her family and friends with unforgettable meals. She will be greatly missed by her two children for whom she was a trusted friend, loving confidante, as well as a source of endless comfort.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Wesley Ronald Diehl; daughter, Christy Leigh Diehl; son, Ronald Wesley and Maria Izabel (Gonçalves) Diehl, granddaughter, Olivia Eleanor and a grandson, Ingo Ferdinand; brothers, Charles Albert Blinn and Elmer Howard Blinn.
