Catherine M. (Swasta) Bobin

Catherine M. (Swasta) Bobin, 84, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born June 15, 1934 in New Brighton a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Bross) Swasta. She was a dedicated homemaker and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony “Tony” Bobin, August 13, 1992, two sisters Dorothy and her husband Sam Cardosi and Mary Ann Harding and her granddaughter Marisa, Cassandra's infant twin sister.

Surviving are three sons Daniel A. (Susan) Bobin, Daugherty Twp., Rodney J. Bobin, New Brighton, James A. (Amy) Bobin, Pulaski Twp., two daughters Judith A. (Joe) LeFevers, Rogers, OH, Christine M. (Michael) Adams, Melbourne, FL, nine grandchildren Cassandra, Joseph, Jacob, Zachary, Alex, Evan, Isaac, Tyler & Michelle, one brother Joseph (Leslie) Swasta, Center Twp., one sister Cecilia (David) Kellogg, New Galilee, one brother-in-law Edwin Harding, New Brighton, many nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, where prayer will be held Wednesday at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am in the Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton.

Inurnment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
