Charlotte R. “Timmy” (Burchett) Peters, 77, of New Brighton, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Heritage Valley Medical Center.

Born October 5, 1937 in Smith’s Ferry – a daughter of the late Jefferson and Charlotte (Burford) Burchett, Charlotte was a terrific mother, devoted homemaker, and loving wife.  Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her sisters and family, was an avid Pittsburgh sports watcher, and TV enthusiast. Charlotte will be sadly missed by all; she was a true blessing to her family and all that knew her.


Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Raymond H. Peters, three sons and daughters-in-law Daniel R. and Mary Ann Peters, David and Marilyn Peters, all of Daugherty Twp., Dennis and Dianne Peters, New Brighton, six grandchildren Danielle (Patrick) Clark, Juliann Peters, David (Catie) Peters, Derek Peters, Carly Peters, Andrew Peters, one great grand-son Ryan Patrick Clark, one brother John (Vicki) Burchett, Monaca, two sisters Shirley (Angelo) Ganz, Pulaski Twp., Dorothy (Don) Koble, New Brighton and several nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Jefferson Burchett, two sisters Vivian Billig and Marjorie Hughes.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, October 5, 2015, and Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton with the Rev. Sam DeMarco officiating.

Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
