Chester P. Halstead

November 15, 1958 — October 9, 2019

Chester P. Halstead Beaver Falls Chester P. Halstead, 60, of Beaver Falls, succumbed to his brave battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Heritage Valley Beaver, surrounded by his loving family. Chester bravely fought this war for four years.  Chester was a 38-year employee of Heritage Valley Health System and will be sorely missed by his staff and co-workers. He is survived by his loving companion, Pam Schutte, with whom he shared 13 years; she has been a constant presence during his fight with cancer.  He is also survived by two daughters, Morgan and Jordan Halstead; two stepsons, Shane and Zack Schutte; and two brothers, Mark and George Halstead. Chester was a kind-hearted man, who often faced his long illness with a smile and was always sure to crack a joke. His suffering is over, but please keep his family and friends in your hearts and prayers as we grieve in the loss of our dearly departed. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with the Rev. Rich Liptak officiating. Cremation will take place after the funeral.
