Clinton G. “Bud” Dalzell, Jr., 79, of Patterson Township, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born September 1, 1944, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Clinton G. “Chick” and Ethel (Moffett) Dalzell, Sr.  He was a graduate of New Brighton High School’s class of 1962, where he was active in several sports.  He went on to graduate with an Economics degree from Geneva College.  He worked various jobs, probation officer in Pittsburgh, a high school Biology teacher, ALSCO Aluminum siding, Jones and Brown, and Kensington Windows where he was Vice President.  He had lived in Connecticut and Ohio and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Akron.  He was a passionate enthusiast of Hot Rod cars, having once restored a 1955 Thunderbird.

Surviving is his longtime partner, Terri Hardesty, sons, Clinton G. Dalzell III, Ryan (Melissa) Hardesty, grandchildren, Benjamin and Grayson Hardesty, sister, Linda (Larry) Troutman, cousin, Andrew “Skip” Klutka.

Bud was predeceased by his parents, and sister and brother-in-law; Catherine (Henry) Erickson.

Friends are welcomed, Wednesday, from 3pm to 7pm, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton.

The family would like to thank the Nurses and staff at Heritage Valley, Beaver, Cardiopulmonary Unit, Level 1 and Kristen and Amy at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver for the loving care given to Clinton.
