Cynthia J. Woodman, 69, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Friendship Ridge.
Born September 1, 1942, in New Brighton; a daughter of the late Henry J and Dorothy (Smith) Woodman, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of New Brighton.
Surviving are a sister, Darlene Woodman Caplan and her husband, Gerald Sanders, Milwaukee, WI; two nephews, Benjamin Caplan, York, PA, Paul Sanders, Griffin, GA; three nieces, Jeanne Lorenz, Julie Cavanaugh, both of Sinking Springs, PA, Martha McAnlis Harbaugh, Toledo, OH; cousins, Stan Dobrowski, Beaver Falls and Sandra Dobrowski, Philadelphia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Aaron Caplan in 1996.
There will be no viewing and friends will be received Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11a.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with the Rev. John Dickey officiating.
Private entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Aaron Caplan Scholarship Fund, School of Forestry, University of Montana, Missoula, MT, 59812.
