David W. Buckley

David W. Buckley, 68, of Daugherty Twp., passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, in his home.

Born March 10, 1955, in New Brighton, he is the son of the late Jack W. and Arline V. (Beck) Buckley.  David was a skilled mechanic whose hands crafted not just machines, but also countless memories.  He was well liked, leaving behind a legacy of smiles and shared moments.  David was a devoted family man whose life was a testament to love, which it showed with his love of his grandchildren.  He was retired from Horsehead where he was a lagger.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Connie (Jones) Buckley, a son, Donavon Buckley and his companion Ashley Dietz, grandchildren, Daemon, Oryiah, Liam and Saffire; sister, Barbara (Lee) Blankenbicker, Daugherty Twp., an aunt, Mary Jane (Don) Beagle, a special nephew, Kyle Blankenbicker; nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Marion Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 4607 Rochester Road, New Brighton from 6:30 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:30 p.m. with Sonny Blucher, officiating. Friends are welcome to join the family for refreshments after the service in the church fellowship hall.

Per David’s wishes, cremation will take place.
