David B. Walter

David B. Walter, 60, of Beaver Falls, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born November 28, 1952 in East Brady, a son of the late Henry David and Helen (Rettig) Walter, David was currently employed as a Pilot Lab Technician and the Engineering Department at the Eaton Corp, Vanport. He had also worked at ZCA Horsehead and Hussey Copper. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and enjoyed his camp in Tionesta. He also had a passion for BMW motorcycles and MAC computers. He also was a veteran of the U.S.A.F. serving as an airplane mechanic from 1970 to 1974. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Beaver Falls.

Surviving are his wife Jerri (Kennedy) Walter, who he married June 19, 1982; two sons, John Henry and his wife Kelli Walter, Beaver Falls and David Lee and his fiancée Michelle White, Carnegie; three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Victoria and Mckenzie; two brothers, Harry (Natalie) Walter, Beaver and Christopher Walter, New Castle; one sister, Vickie (Joe) Drusko, Kennerdale and several nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Wednesday at 9:20 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Philomena Catholic Church, Beaver Falls, with the Rev. James B. Farnan, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
