Dawna (Mcgowan) Greco

Dawna K. (McGowan) Greco Pulaski Township Dawna K (McGowan) Greco passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, surrounded by her family at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, Pa. Dawna was born on March 20, 1940, to Franklin and Vivian (Fair) McGowan.  She is a member of United Methodist Church in New Brighton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Greco in 1982; her brother, John "Jack" McGowan; and her companion of 30 years, Donn Sheets in 2018. Dawna is survived by her five loving children and their spouses, Janet (Jeff) McCanna, Judy (Doug) Dennis, Thomas (Lisa) Greco, Tricia (Jeff) Carmody, and Richard (Clare) Greco; ten grandchildren, Stacy (Matt) Circle, Tony (Sara) Greco, Stephanie Greco, Joshua (Michelle) McCanna, Justin (Amanda) McCanna, Chelsea (Ryan) Hancox, Jeffrey (Amber) Carmody, Brittney (Willie) McCurdy, Alexa Greco, and Samantha Greco; ten great-grandchildren, Evan, Garett and Natalie Circle, Sophia and Sydney McCurdy, Brooks Greco, Payton Betz-Koutsourais, Cade Greco, Ava Greco and baby girl Greco due in March 2020.  She is also survived by many extended family members and friends and will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Dawna loved spending quality time with her huge family at parties, picnics and gatherings.  She enjoyed rooting for and watching her favorite Pittsburgh sports teams. Friends will be received on Monday, November 18, from 1 to 3 p.m.  and 5 to 7 p.m. at J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Friends will be received Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Gary Hilton officiating in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.
