Dennis E. Simpson Sr., 72, of Chippewa, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his home with family at his side.
Born October 3, 1943, in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Elsie (Simpson) Matthews. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army and was a retired driver for U.P.S. He was committee chair for the Beaver Falls/New Brighton Reunion.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline (Lindsey) Simpson; two sons, Dennis E. Simpson Jr. and his son, Deniro J. Simpson and Jermaine Simpson, all of Fallston; two daughters, Lashan McCoy, Clayton, NC, and Monique Vaughn, Monaca; two sisters, Patricia Wright, Rogers, OH, and Deborah Thomas, Beaver Falls, and a host of nieces, nephews their families and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Moxley and a brother, Ernest Lee Simpson.
At his request there will be no viewing.
Friends will be received Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com.
