Donald P. "DK" Krut, 52, of Enon Valley, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at his home.
Donald P. "DK" Krut, 52, of Enon Valley, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at his home.
Born August 28, 1959, in Rochester, he was a son of the late Robert W. Sr. and Carol Ann (Neal-Covish) Krut. Don was a graduate of New Brighton High School, Class of 1977. He was a member of the Oak Hill Vets, played in the A.P.A. Eight Ball League and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a Catholic by his faith and his upbringing.
Surviving are his special companion, Patty Roush; his four daughters, Darcy (Jesse Hunter) Krut, Enon Valley; Lauren (Josh Freeman) Krut, Beaver Falls, and Ashley and Kaitelin Krut; his former wife, Cathy L. (Gibson) Krut, New Brighton; one granddaughter, Nadia Marie Freeman; two brothers, Bob and his wife Cindy Krut, Fombell, and Joe Krut, New Brighton; Patty's children, Robert and Laura Roush, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton,

, where prayers will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.
