Dorothy M. Bair
Dorothy M. Bair, 79, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Heritage Valley Beaver, surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 14, 1937, in Abo, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Paulita Maldonado. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a devoted homemaker as well as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was loved by all.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, William D. Bair Sr.; one son, William D. (Teresa) Bair Jr., North Sewickley; two daughters, Nina Ragozzino, Chardon, Ohio and Pauline (Scott) Engle, New Brighton; five grandchildren Lee (Mariano), Jenna (James), Michael, Chasity and Josh; five great-grandchildren, Ava, Jazmine, Mateo, Ian and Andi; one sister, Rosie (Frank) Barrela, Socorro, N.M.; one brother, Adolfo (Marcella) Maldonado, Belen, N.M., many nieces, nephews and their families, and devoted friends.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded by a son, Ted E. Bair in 1975, and two brothers, Florine and Richard Maldonado.
Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
