Dorothy Jane (Clayton) Peretic

Dorothy J. Peretic, 94, of Rochester, formerly of Beaver, passed away November 25, 2018, at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center, Brighton Township.

Born October 8, 1924, in Alliance, Ohio, a daughter of Harry and Agnes (Faulds) Clayton.  She had been employed by Bell Telephone, as well as local doctor’s offices.  She was an avid roller skater from youth to adulthood.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Cordes, sisters Ruth Newell and June McKelvey, brothers Harry and Melvin Clayton and son-in-law John Cordes.

She is survived by two grandsons, Ryan Cordes and Derek (Natasha House) Cordes, two great-grandchildren Ava and Hayden Cordes, all of Beaver; one brother and sister-in-law Walter (Eleanor) Clayton, New Brighton, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, December 4th from 12pm-1pm in the First Church of God, 605 9th St. New Brighton, with a memorial service at 1pm, officiated by Pastor Lon Hogue.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Dorothy’s name to the funeral home.
