Dorothy (Pringle) Yoho
Dorothy (Pringle) Yoho, 92, of Monaca, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Providence Health Care, Beaver Falls.
Born September 3, 1920, in 10 Mile, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Evert and Rubie (Snyder) Pringle, she was retired from the former Tic Toc Restaurant in Rochester where she was a cook. She had also worked at the former Wyckoff Steel in Ambridge during and after World War II. Dorothy loved being with her family and enjoyed watching it grow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Yoho, in 1955; a son, Donald Pringle, in 2001; two stepsons, Thurman Yoho and Edgar Yoho; two brothers, Darrell and Jack, and three sisters, Bulah, Freda and Susie.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Heidi Yoho, Industry; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Sue and Ted Moldovan, Brighton Twp.; Ruby Yoho, Rochester; Jane Raisley, Monaca; Sharon and Marty Klemen, New Brighton, and Christine and John Kruest, Uniontown; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Pringle, Buckhannon, WV, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Her grandson-in-law, the Rev. Wade Barto of the Lander United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Private interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.
