Elizabeth “Betty” Arienzo. 97, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 at Providence Care Center.
Born July 5, 1919 in Rochester a daughter of the late Anthony and Nicolena (Riccardelli) Tooch. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, enjoyed bowling, dancing and she looked forward to playing cards with her sisters and brothers. She loved her family and especially the family outings.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Arienzo, December 15, 1995, four brothers Patsy, Ralph, tony and Phil Tooch, three sisters Jennie Clark, Janet Garofolo, and Margaret Cuiffi. She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lena Tooch.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Starr Arienzo, New Brighton, Jerry and Mary Ann Arienzo, Rutledge, GA nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two brothers Jim Tooch, Oregon, joe (JoAnn) Tooch, North Sewickley, many nieces, nephews and their families, two special friends, Larry and Judy.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4 p.m. until time of blessing service at 7 p.m. in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.
Private interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.
