Elma M. (Luke) Elliott, 92, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 24, 2015, in her home.
Born in Brighton Twp., a daughter of the late Frank and Lillie (Young) Luke, she was a member of the Marion Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Elma enjoyed sewing with her friends, cooking and trips to Pymatuning.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Elliott, December 9, 1993; her grandson, Richard O. Elliott Jr., April 5, 1991; five brothers, Charles, George, William, Fred and Raymond, and two sisters, Jenny Fox and Helen Ewing.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard O. and Connie Elliott, New Brighton; Jeffrey D. and Marion Elliott, Knoxville, TN; a granddaughter, Amanda (Kenny) Dearing, Knoxville, TN; two granddaughters, Haley and Laura; one grandson, Kenny; one sister, Alice and her husband, Charlie Scott, Calcutta, OH; a brother-in-law, Sidney Ewing, Canfield, OH; many nieces, nephews, their families and her beloved cat, Snoopy.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. James Krouse officiating.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
