Ethel (Murray) Revelant
Ethel (Murray) Revelant, 91, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Friendship Ridge.
Born and raised in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James and Effie (McGuire) Murray. She was retired from the former Westinghouse Electric Corp after 21 years of service. Ethel was a warm and loving mother and grandmother. She thoroughly enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family. Tending to her garden and flowers was one of her favorite hobbies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dante J. Revelant, in 1966; a sister, Helen Carns, in 1994; two brothers, John E. Murray, in 2005 and Roy Murray, in 2007.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Mary Revelant, Peru, IN; Wayne and Kristine Revelant, New Brighton; five grandchildren, Vanessa (Richard) Doughty, Patty (Adam) Davidson, Adam Revelant, Jennifer Grubbs and Daniel (Samantha) Revelant; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Evan and Patrick.
Private family service will be held at the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Private interment will be at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
The Revelant family would like to express their gratefulness to the staff and nurses on 2 Main at Friendship Ridge and also much gratitude to the kind nurses from Horizons Hospice who were so dedicated in their excellent care of Ethel.
