Eugene D. Kisic, 76, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, August, 8, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born July 13, 1939, in Fallston a son of the late Joseph and Ann (Malovich) Kisic. He was a graduate of New Brighton High School, Class of 1957 and graduated from School of Machinists, Salam, OH. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton, where he had served on the church council, as an usher and was a lay minister. He was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels for 15 years and was a member of the Y.M.C.A. He retired from McDanel Refractory in 1998 after working in many places in Beaver County as a master machinist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregg Eugene Kisic and his father-in-law, Robert E. Bucklen.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Nancy (Bucklen) Kisic; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leigh and Roger Eppley, Patterson Twp., and Wendy and Vincent Farelli, New Brighton; one son, Brian R. Kisic, New Brighton; his daughter-in-law, Deborah Kisic, Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Zachary, Nicholas, Dylan and Jacob; his mother-in-law, Margaret Bucklen, New Brighton; a brother-in-law, Marco (Cynthia) Bucklen, Irving, TX, an aunt, Jean Kisic, Patterson Twp, an uncle, Ed Kisic, Beaver Falls, and many cousins.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Wednesday friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 10th Ave., New Brighton, with the Rev. Frank Kantz, officiating assisted by Eugene's cousin the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel.
Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
