Felicia "Phyllis" (Curcio) Yaria, 93, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away Monday, October 12, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.
Born December 15, 1921 in Nocere Terinase, Calabria, Italy, a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Vittori (Mancini) Curcio. She was retired from the former Westinghouse Electric Company and was a member of the Christian Assembly of New Brighton. A warm loving soul whose gentle kindness touched the lives of all those around her, she gave of herself completely and unconditionally as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family with all her heart and was loved as such in return. The radiance that she brought to this world will not soon be diminished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Yaria, October 23, 2008; her daughter-in-law, Terri (Circle) Yaria; sister-in-law, Theresa Angelillo and brother-in-law, Joseph Yaria.
Surviving are two sons, James F. Yaria and his companion Shari Rogan, New Brighton, and John M. Yaria, Chippewa Twp.; one daughter, Mary Jean Wilcox and her dear friend, George Perry, New Brighton; her beloved grandson, James Anthony Yaria, Austin, TX; one brother, Gino and Agnes Curcio, North Sewickley Twp.; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Angelo "Butch" and Barbara Yaria, North Port, FL; John and Vicky Yaria, Monaca, and Daniel Angelillo, New Brighton; niece, Connie Curcio; her Canadian family, cousins Antoinette Curcio, Rosina Caricari and the late Vini Accogli and their families; her coffee club friends Mrs. McBride, Nancy Poggi and Wayne Huddy, and many more nieces, nephews, their families and friends.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com.  Friday friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the New Brighton Christian Assembly Church, Valley Avenue, with the Rev. Sam DeMarco officiating.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
