Florence Elizabeth 'Peach' Plum Medved

Florence Elizabeth "Peach" Plum Medved, 76, of Center Twp., formerly of Patterson Twp., passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, John and Daisy (Knox) Sedgewick; her first husband, Ernest R. Plum, in 2001, five siblings and their spouses.
Surviving are her husband, John Medved; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest (Joan) Plum and John (Nancy) Plum, all of New Brighton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shawn (Larry) Welsh, Georgia, and Krista (Flavion) Mancini, Beaver; two stepdaughters, Pricillia Strejghtoff, Texas, and Melinda (Ron) Massic, New Brighton; one stepson, Thomas Dougherty, Hopewell Twp.; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and two future great-grandchildren on the way; her dear niece and best friend, Nancy (Chuck) Henderson, Ohio, and many more nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a blessing service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Martin Bartel officiating.
Private family interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
