Frank J. Trgovac, 69, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 , at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh .

Born October 29, 1941 , in New Brighton , he was the son of the late Frank N. and Anne (Srmeg) Trgovac. Frank was a graduate of New Brighton High School , attended Geneva College where he received a Batchelor of Science Degree and then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters in Mathematics Education. Frank was retired from Beaver Falls High School where he was a mathematics and computer programming teacher. He was a member of the BBFEA, PSEA, NEA, and Holy Family R.C. Church , New Brighton , and the Holy Name Society. Frank was an avid Pittsburgh Panther fan and enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by several cousins.

Friends will be received today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave. , New Brighton , www.jjsprattfh.com , where prayers will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family R.C. Church , New Brighton . Rev. Father Tom Kredel, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery , New Brighton .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in his name, to Big Beaver Falls Education Foundation, 1701 8th Ave , Beaver Falls , Pa 15010 .

The Holy Name Society will recite a Rosary today at 7:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
