Gavin Thomas Thurnher
Gavin Thomas Thurnher, two years and five months, our hearts are broken as heaven gains a perfect angel, who went to sleep on Thursday and awoke with his Heavenly Father on Friday morning, December 19, 2014.
Born July 13, 2012, the son of Brian and Brenda (May) Thurnher of Chippewa Twp., Gavin loved to play, laugh, and dance. He was excited by everything from hockey to motorcycles, from Mickey Mouse to Spiderman. Gavin enthusiastically loved the Steelers and the Penguins. He was a bright, adorable, little boy. He was smart beyond his years and had a wonderful imagination. Gavin brought joy to every life he touched and lit up every room he entered. He was a perfect son! Thank you Gavin for all the laughs, smiles, hugs, kisses and love you gave to each of us. We wish God would have let you honor us with your presence a little longer, but trust that He is holding you in His loving embrace.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his younger sister, Addison; grandparents, Thomas and Dawn May, New Brighton and Tyna Knox and Dave Ammon, Rochester; great-grandparents, Lysle and Edith Miller, Beaver Falls; Rose Gagne, Ambridge; Jerry and Vicki Gagne, Beaver Falls, and Barbara Schmidt, Fort Meyers FL; aunts and uncles, Matthew and Amber May, Coatsville; Jenny May, Ambridge and her fiancé, Patrick Hanson, Rochester; Bethany and Dan Sauers and their son, Dean; Artie Knox and his son, Jeramiah; Gary and Michelle Focer and their sons, Joey and Jaiden. He will also be greatly missed by his special caregivers, great aunt and uncle, Becky and Jeff Giles and their children, Tiffany, Brittney and her fiancé, Jared Moffet, Beaver Falls, along with numerous other great aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. The funeral service will be held at Beaver Valley Christian Fellowship, 903 Eighth Ave, Beaver Falls on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with his great uncle, Rev. Wade Barto, officiating.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
